Having paddled and taught classes with Helen, I just want to remark on what an accomplished paddler she is and that I regard her as one of life's truly inspirational people.

Helen is a considerate and skilled teacher as well as being a virtuoso performer in a boat. Whilst people may connect helen with her obvious rolling talents, it should not be overlooked that she has the sort of coaching qualities that would make any kind of workshop or clinic enjoyable and engaging.

All the best to one of a kind :o)

Shouldn't the radio mentioned in the list be a VHF Marine Radio not a UHF.

Hi Jill
First saw your profile here and I noticed a more in depth profile on 'girlsoutdoors' - Your paddles and rolling sticks are beautiful Jill.
While I'm sure there are other women out there carving traditional paddles, I dont know any - very cool!

Hey Graham,

I am trying to get some plans for an Aleut paddle so I can make one to compare against my West Greenland paddle. I managed to get one set but instructions are in Italian.
