Why do you like the GP – What’s there not to like? Just as fast as my (ex) Euro paddles, easier for rolling, more gentle on body on long distance paddles, great kindling if firewood is scarse, or so say the naysayers…

Most embarrassing paddling incident – You had to ask!?! I guess the incident where I got trashed by waves on the Tweed River bar and a jetski assisted in towing me out of trouble. The embarrassing part is not getting help from the jetskier but almost losing my pants when the dude gunned the jestski with me hanging with one hand onto his craft and the other onto my kayak. Once my pants dropped to my ankles I had to let go. I had to choose: risk my life in the surf zone or die of embarrassment. Luckily the jetski came back and once the pants were around my waist again proceeded to get me to safety. While I am not really best friends with the pesky aquabogans (jestskiers) I am friendly enough to use them in a rescue. I even shook hands with the dude 
What is your dream paddle trip – Paddle on the coast of Sweden or Southern Norway in company of the Swedish Bikini Team.
Final Comment – To the naysayers, don’t be afraid of the stick. Don’t dis it if you haven’t tried it. Ignorance will keep you sheltered from one of the best tools in sea kayaking.
