There’s no secret that Sydney’s own paddling muse, the Fat Paddler, is a fan of greenland paddles. Whether weilding his laminate CohoKayak stick or his Red Cedar Elver stick, you won’t see him on the water with a Euro. As the “People’s Paddler”, the FP is a fan of using whatever equipment you enjoy the most. For him, that’s his greenland paddle.
With the recent addition of a split Mitchel Horizon paddle, FP is able to keep a spare easily stowed on deck whilst he paddles with his preferred Elver Tour. Not only does a split gp stow on the kayak deck far easier than euro blade, it means he can travel with his Folbot Cooper kayak in a backpack complete with a gp now, instead of having to carry a three piece euro. Sensational!
